Popular uprisings, mass protests, violent oppression, and international intervention led to the downfall of several long-standing rulers and the emergence of new politics and new leaders. In the wake of the series of revolutions known as the « Arab Spring, » Guy Sorman and Bret Stephens will discuss the outcomes for the region and explore whether the results of these various popular uprisings are moving these countries toward a more democratic future.
