Description: The French-American Chamber of Commerce – New York Chapter re-launched its much-anticipated annual Gala Evening at Manhattan’s Tribeca Rooftop on June 13th, 2012.
The French-American Chamber of Commerce holds its Gala Evening to celebrate global business leadership and the strength of French-American business relations, and to raise funds for the new French-American Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
Honoring in 2012 world-renowned restaurateur Daniel Boulud, Chef-Owner of several award-winning restaurants and Chairman of the Bocuse d’Or USA Foundation, over 260 FACC members and guests gathered at Manhattan’s Tribeca Rooftop on a warm summer evening.
Attendees represented some of New York’s most renowned French and American companies.
Event highlights included rooftop cocktails with spectacular Manhattan views; three-course dinner; launch of the FACC Foundation and Serge Bellanger Scholarship Award by President Elsa Berry; remarks by and exclusive interview with Chef Daniel Boulud; exceptional networking opportunities; Longchamp Paris gift bags; and dessert & dancing well into the night.
The Gala marked the official launch of the French-American Chamber of Commerce Foundation, which was recently formed to help train and educate the next generation of transatlantic business leaders. Through its International Studies Scholarship Program, the Foundation will provide scholarships to eligible French students looking to study business in the U.S., and to eligible American students who want to study business in France.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization.
